Today was my first day of microgravity training with Project PoSSUM! This week my fellow possums and I will be doing multiple experiments. The main one being the Final Frontier Design Space Suit!

We got up early before heading to the Ottawa Airport. There we met our fellow citizen scientists at National Research Council‘s flight test facility!

After our orientation and safety briefings we headed to the hanger to get started with the experiment preparation and aircraft orientation!

This week we’ll be doing parabolic flights on the NRC’s Falcon 20 experimental aircraft!
